Escape for a day of fitness, art, and wine at Winery at Bull Run with Sasha and Sonja Lyth! You'll get a taste of our Recharge Retreats with a Core Fusion workout followed by Paint and Sip class, some healthy snacks and a few prizes.
Bonus: We've reserved a private picnic cabana area for our Paint and Sip class, and the workout will be a little "teaser" to fusion classes at Next Phase Courthouse, which will be open by May 1st 2017!
*Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel for the workout and arrive 10 minutes early to set up. Class will start right at 11:30am!

Get ready for a not-so-typical night out, and the perfect pairing of wine and creativity. Spend two hours creating an original painting, drinking wine, enjoying healthy snacks, and mingling with friends. Absolutely no experience necessary, and all materials will be provided. Under the guidance of Sasha Lyth, you will come away with a gorgeous work of art for your home or office.
Just like the recent Recharge Day event at Paradise Springs Winery, this event introduces you to our art/fitness theme, and a little taste of what you can anticipate on our Recharge Retreats.

Wellness Workshop: Balancing Hormones for Optimal Weight Loss

Have you ever experienced the frustration and discouragement of seeing non budging scale results despite watching everything you eat and exercising multiple times a week? You’re putting in all this work, restricting calories, and for what? It’s supposed to be simple formula: Exercise regularly and consume less calories than what you burn each day. Unfortunately it is not that simple. So many people are in this boat, and sometimes it just makes you want to give up.
It is amazing how the body works, and in this case, I’m talking about hormones. Hormones are messengers that help cells communicate with one another. If a hormone is not sending messages to the cells, or the cells are not receiving them, it creates a domino effect. SO what causes these hormones to get out of whack, and how do you fix the issue so that you can actually start feeling more energized and see some results?
Here are a few of today's culprits leading to hormone imbalance:
- Working longer hours and constantly on cell phones
- Sleeping less
- Higher stress levels
- Certain foods going in the mouth
- Lack of exercise
- Environmental toxicity
Are you affected by any of these in your daily life? Even if weight loss specifically is not an issue, your hormones are most likely not functioning properly, and eventually the affects will catch up. Some of these affects include diabetes, digestive issues, heart failure or stroke, faster aging, lack of energy, and cognitive dysfunction.
